Our Newest Discovery Franchise: Overwatch

In preparation for the upcoming Blizzard Title Overwatch 2 we have decided to move forward with bringing Overwatch to RCG. Overwatch is Currently in Discovery but is alive and kicking. Currently Overwach Scouting Grounds has 7 Team Members including 2 from the other side of the world New Zealand and Australia. Overwatch is led by its Team Captain @RCG CustomHydroGaming. If you are interested in joining Overwatch please reach out to your Team Captain.

The Council has decided that in the best interest of the Community our Community Liaisons will serve 3 month terms. This decision came about because we wanted to not only give time for CL's to enact change but we wanted to also get more members interested in voting for whom would have their best interest. So as a result there will be 4 CL's a year and you can only serve once in that calendar year. 

 

Avarosan League March in Review:

After 2 weeks of matches, our teams are starting to settle in. In front is RCG Ionia but all matches with RCG Vespertide have been close leaving everyone thinking will the next time be the time Vespertide dethrone the Kings. So far only Glorified minions have risen on the ladder standings after taking down Just Krugs. We have seen many different styles in this league from the Lighting fast Junkyard titans, to the bloodbaths that have been the Ionia Vs Vespertide games, to the Controlled low kill score games of Glorified Minions. What ever your preferred game type we have it. Streamed games will now be advertised on the RCG Calendar as well as discord so watch for the next match from your favorite teams.

 

The Council is hosting a recruiting contest for RCG!

When: 
Now until June 1st at 11:59 pm EST or until we hit 40 recruits (whichever comes first)

Who: 
Everyone can participate

Why: 
To encourage growth in other areas of RCG besides LOL EUW

What are the Prizes:
$5 USD for every recruit you bring into RCG for non LOL EUW. Also $10 USD For any support positions recruited

These are the items needed for your recruit to count:
1. List your name! This can either be in the "Why RCG" section, under the "referrer", or in a message with you confirming that you referred them (you will need to supply a screenshot of the message if it is not listed on their RCG profile).
2. The recruit must complete Orientation or complete 1 Project(For support positions).
3. The recruit must be in LOL NA, Apex, or Overwatch

How do I receive my prize:
Prizes will be sent via PayPal by mid June. If you do not have a PayPal we will try to work something out.
